Cansec's CP40 Access Control Panel uses state of the art technology to provide a cost-effective means of providing complete and relentless security management. Each CP40 can support up to two Card Readers including either Cansec's own CanProx Proximity, Magnetic Stripe, or iButtonTM Readers, as well as many other popular Reader technologies including: Proximity, Wiegand, Biometric, Infra-Red, Radio Frequency, and Bar Code.

The CP40 will support any reader technology with a standard 26 Bit Wiegand Output as defined by Sensor Engineering Ltd. Contact Cansec Systems for other Wiegand formats.

CP40 Features:

* Supports two readers
* Each reader has dedicated Lock Output, Alarm Shunt Output, DHO Output, Forced Entry Output, Door Contact Input, Exit Button Input
* 65,000 standard card capacity
* Lock output selectable as dry contact or 12VDC
* Onboard Fire Alarm Release and Reset
* RS-485 or RS-422 Communications
* Two spare Inputs and two spare Outputs
* 12VDC @ 3 Amp On-Board Power Supply
* Improved line suppression circuitry to protect against transient noise
* Supervised or non-supervised door contact inputs
* Communications Fail Output.
